Firearm Training Available to Broward County Residents
Most of what we teach runs right here in Broward. The advanced scenario work happens at our Okeechobee range, and the course pages tell you which is which.
- Private Firearm Training. One on one instruction built around your firearm and what you actually want to fix. $125 per hour, or less per person if you bring somebody. Available at both Broward ranges.
- Concealed Carry Certification. Florida CWFL qualification without the classroom. The law comes to you as a PDF you read at home, and your instruction time gets spent shooting. $250 for two private lessons.
- Rifle Training. Rifle Fundamentals at either Broward range. Defensive Rifle with movement, cover, and vehicle work runs at our Okeechobee range. From $75 per person.
- EmpowHER Women’s Training. Women only sessions where every student on the line is a woman. One hour, from $75 per person. Private range sections available at both Broward locations.
- Group Training. Four to twelve people, one instructor, curriculum built around your group. One hour at either Broward range, or three hours outdoors. From $75 per person.
- Stop the Bleed. Tourniquet application, wound packing, and direct pressure. Standalone or paired with firearm training.
- House of Worship Security. Armed security team training for faith communities. Available at Pompano Beach or Okeechobee. All faiths welcome.
- Protector Courses. Two levels of defensive pistol training at our Okeechobee outdoor range. $200 each, three hours, ten students maximum. Worth the drive once your fundamentals are solid.

A second professional indoor range for private and small group sessions. Convenient from Pompano Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Margate, Tamarac, and Lauderhill. Private lessons, House of Worship Security team training, EmpowHER sessions, and concealed carry coursework run here, and private bays are available.
Range fees are paid directly to the range and run approximately $20 per person at both locations.
For the advanced work, movement, cover, barricades, and vehicle scenarios, students make the drive to our private outdoor range in Okeechobee. No indoor facility in Broward permits any of it, and no range fee applies there since we own it.

Controlled conditions are not a compromise. Consistent lighting, measured distances, and a professional environment are exactly what building precise, repeatable mechanics requires.
Grip. Stance. Sight alignment. Trigger control. Breath control. None of that needs moving targets or an outdoor environment. It needs focused instruction and intentional repetition, which is what both Broward locations are built for.
Students who commit to structured indoor training consistently report the same thing: more improvement in one focused session than in months of unsupervised range visits. The range is the same one they were already going to. The instruction is what changes.
Once the fundamentals hold up, Okeechobee is where you find out whether they hold up while you are moving.
Who You Are Training With
Mike Kneuer has spent twenty-two years carrying a firearm daily and the last several teaching other people how to do it properly. He competes in USPSA, constantly furthers his education by taking other top level instructors courses, and has put thousands of hours in with students ranging from people who had never touched a gun to daily carriers with bad habits they could not see.
A certification is a starting point, not an achievement. It means someone passed a course, and it says nothing about the years since. What Mike brings to your session is a working knowledge of what actually goes wrong for shooters and how to fix it.
He does not lecture and he does not perform. Most of the hour is you shooting and him watching, with short corrections between strings. If what you are doing works, he leaves it alone. If it does not, he tells you plainly and shows you the fix. Nobody gets yelled at and nobody gets talked down to.

The difference between an instructor and an unsupervised range session is the difference between working out alone and working out with a coach. You can make progress either way. A trained eye finds what you cannot see yourself, corrects it while it is happening, and gives you something specific to work on next. Students who have been shooting for years routinely discover that one grip adjustment produces improvement they had not managed on their own in a decade.
