One-on-one shooting instruction for every level — whether you just bought your first handgun in North Palm Beach or you have been shooting for years and your accuracy has quietly plateaued. Private lessons exist because group classes cannot give you what you actually need: eyes on your specific grip, your specific trigger pull, your specific problem. We cover stance, sight picture, trigger mechanics, accuracy fundamentals, and defensive application, with live verbal feedback after every repetition. Sessions available at Palm Beach Shooting Center in Lake Worth — a short drive from North Palm Beach. Firearm rental available for $50.
Florida Concealed Carry Certification (CWFL) — $200–$250
A lot of people in North Palm Beach carry. Far fewer of them are genuinely ready to use a firearm under pressure. This course is built for the gap between those two things. Our Florida concealed carry class is live-fire focused and covers Florida’s use-of-force laws, responsible holster selection, drawing from concealment, and the kind of real-world decision-making that does not fall apart when your hands are shaking and the stakes are real. Mike provides the NRA-certified instructor sign-off required for your Florida CWFL application. This is not paperwork. It is preparation.
Protector Level 1 — Pistol Fundamentals — $150
A three-hour pistol course at our private outdoor range in Okeechobee, FL — capped at 10 students so instruction stays personal. This course is built for the North Palm Beach gun owner who bought a firearm and realized they have never actually been taught how to use it. Not really. We build the foundation from scratch: stance, grip, sight alignment, trigger control, live-fire accuracy drills, and multi-target engagement. If you own a firearm and have never had structured instruction, this is the course that makes everything else make sense.
Protector Level 2 — Concealed Carry Concepts — $200
Designed for North Palm Beach residents who already carry and have started asking harder questions — what happens if I have to draw in a parking lot? What about from inside a vehicle? This advanced concealed carry course covers holster draw under stress, shooting while moving, vehicle defense scenarios, use of cover and concealment, and magazine changes when your heart rate is high and your fine motor skills are compromised. Carrying a firearm and being ready to use one are not the same thing. This course is where that distance closes. Includes Florida CCW instructor sign-off.
EmpowHER Women-Only Firearm Training — $100
A women-only shooting program for women in North Palm Beach and across Palm Beach County who want to learn firearms in a space designed entirely around them. No condescension. No intimidation. No pressure to keep up with anyone. No prior experience necessary — all firearms, eye protection, and ear protection are provided. Groups of 4 to 8 women. Confidence with a firearm is not a trait you either have or you do not. It is a skill. Every woman in North Palm Beach can build it, and this is where that starts.
Group Firearm Training — from $100 per person
Custom group shooting instruction for North Palm Beach families, neighbors, HOA communities, corporate teams, and any group that has decided they would rather be prepared than assume everything will be fine. Indoor sessions available at our Pompano Beach location; outdoor sessions at Smoke & Barrel in Okeechobee. Stop the Bleed Certification — $75 per person (groups of 4+)
Nationally affiliated bleeding control training for North Palm Beach residents and Palm Beach County groups. Covers tourniquet application, wound packing, and direct pressure — the three skills that keep someone alive in the minutes before EMS arrives. No medical background required. One hour. All materials included. If you own a firearm in North Palm Beach and do not know how to stop a life-threatening bleed, that is a gap worth closing. This course closes it.
