Not far. We train at Palm Beach Shooting Center in Lake Worth, which is a straightforward drive east from Royal Palm Beach along Southern Boulevard — most of our western Palm Beach County students are on the range in under 20 minutes. For scenario-based defensive training that no indoor facility in South Florida can replicate, we also train at Smoke & Barrel Gun Club, our private 1.25-acre outdoor tactical range near Okeechobee. I already have my concealed carry permit. Do I actually need formal firearm training?
