Florida Concealed Carry Certification (CWFL) — $200–$250

If you are carrying along Oakland Park Boulevard, in the Sawgrass Mills parking lot, or anywhere in between, a permit alone is not preparation. Our Florida concealed carry course is live-fire focused and built around the decisions that actually matter under stress — Florida carry law, safe holster use, drawing from concealment, and the judgment that separates a legal, justified response from a catastrophic one. Mike provides the NRA-certified instructor sign-off required for your Florida CWFL application.
Protector Level 1 — Pistol Fundamentals — $150
A three-hour beginner to intermediate pistol course at our private outdoor range in Okeechobee, FL. Limited to 10 students. Built for the Sunrise gun owner who is done winging it — who wants a real foundation that actually transfers to real life instead of just punching paper. Covers stance, grip, sight alignment, trigger control, live-fire accuracy drills, and multi-target engagement. If you own a firearm and have never had formal instruction, this is your starting point.
Protector Level 2 — Concealed Carry Concepts — $200
For Sunrise residents who already carry and know there is a gap between having a permit and being genuinely ready to use it. This course closes that gap. Drawing from a holster, shooting on the move, vehicle-based defense scenarios, cover and concealment, and high-stress magazine changes under pressure. Sunrise is not a quiet town. If you carry here, train like it. Includes Florida CCW instructor sign-off.
EmpowHER Women-Only Firearm Training — $100
A women-only firearm program built entirely around the women of Sunrise and South Florida who want to learn in an environment free of judgment, ego, and condescension. No experience required. Eye protection, ear protection, and firearms are all provided. Groups of 4 to 8 women. Confidence with a firearm is not something you are born with — it is something you build. Every woman in Sunrise can build it, and this is where that starts.
Group Firearm Training — from $100 per person
Custom group gun training for Sunrise families, friend groups, HOA communities, corporate teams, and organizations of every kind. Indoor at our Pompano Beach location or outdoor at Smoke & Barrel in Okeechobee. No recycled curriculum, no generic handouts with your city dropped into the header. Stop the Bleed Certification — $75 per person (groups of 4+)
Bleeding control training available to Sunrise residents and Broward County groups. Covers tourniquet application, wound packing, and direct pressure technique. No medical background required. One hour. All materials included. A firearm is a tool for preventing harm — knowing how to stop a bleed is what you do when prevention was not enough. This course is one hour and it fills a gap most gun owners in Sunrise do not even realize they have.
